AIVRS Membership Perks

1. Exclusive Eligibility
   Only American Indian Vocational Rehabilitation Services (AIVRS) Tribal programs can join under this membership.
2. Voting Power & Influence
   Each AIVRS member receives one vote.
   The total weight of AIVRS votes is at least 51% of the overall vote, ensuring a significant influence on decisions.
3. Participation in Key Organizational Decisions
   A supermajority (65%) is required for major decisions, including:
   Merging with other organizations
   Dissolving CANAR, Inc.
   Amending or revising by-laws
   Removing elected officials
4. Proxy Voting Option
   If a member is unable to attend a vote, they can submit a written and signed proxy vote, ensuring continuous representation.
5. Membership Contingent on Dues
   Membership remains active upon annual dues payment, keeping the program in good standing.
